The Inventors Universal Educator
This is one of my favorite books to look at. Published in 1919 by Fred G. Deiterich, it is an Educational Cyclopaedia and Guide for Inventions, Patentees, Manufacturers, Mechanics, and all Others Connected Directly or Indirectly with Patents. The book has incredible drawings for contraptions from the time, along with fee schedules, information on what is patent-able, how to obtain a patent, decisions on various applicants, etc. A real bit of history from a much simpler time. Only $12.49. Stock number 92476.

The Reading Puddle Ball, October 1935
"The Reading Puddle Ball" is the source of all Genuine Puddled Wrought Iron and was published by The Reading Iron Co. It was a periodical that featured informative articles on the art of wrought iron. This particular issue showcases the Wrought Iron in Ancient Germany in an article titled "Gods of the Forest". I loved the little slogan at the bottom of the first page:
"Science and Invention Have Never Found a Satisfactory Substitute for Genuine Puddled Wrought Iron". Pick this issue up for $9.99. Stock number 71521.

This magnificent dinosaur (and by dinosaur, I mean not only age, but SIZE) is a throw-back to the pre-electricity days. It is from 1886 and is not a book to be tossed around. Very delicate with some loose pages and no spine covering, it is worn and age-tinted, but still a treasure. $199.99. #99097.
