For those of you who may be too young to remember, the Rawleigh products were sold door-to-door. They included everything from over-the-counter medications to cleaning supplies to flavorings. This is a guide to their uses and benefits, and also includes several other helpful guides like best times to fish, yummy recipes, and planting and canning information. A fun glimpse at life in 1956. This stapled "catalog" type publication has a detached cover, but could easily be repaired with a little tape. A fun read at only $6.99. Stock number 37972.

Come into the Kitchen
	"Come into the Kitchen" was put out by Lady Pinkham's Vegetable Compound-a tonic for women-as a promotional item. It is full of great old recipes and, though undated, my educated guess is that it was from the very early 20's. It is soiled and some pages are loose, but very deserving of a caring homemaker. $6.99. Delightful Cooking with the Three Great Products from Corn
	Great old recipes using Corn Starch, Corn Syrup, and Corn Oil, can be found in this little booklet, "Delightful Cooking with the Three Great Products from Corn". Published by Corn Products Refining Co. (Argo/Karo/Mazola) in the 30's, it had the hearty endorsement of Chef Oscar of The Waldorf-Astoria. Only $6.99; stock numbr 49659.

A Manual of Cookery in the 12 Chapters as applied to classroom work
	This offering was published by the Home Economics Department of Proctor and Gamble in 1925. It is a binder with 6 of 12 specific booklets in it, which include: Frying Facts, Perfect Pies, Manual of Cakes, Quick Breads, Desserts, and Soups and Sauces. It is in great condition other than some minor edgewear and light soiling. $24.99. Stock number 96180.

Home Canning Guide
	Prepared by Home Economics Institute of Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co., this timeless manual contains tips on Quick Freezing, Dehydrating, Brining, Winter Storage in Cellars, Pits and Boxes. The slogan on the front cover is "Health for Victory" and has an ad for War Bonds on the back. It was put out in 1943. Pick this up for $7.49. Stock number 64036.

	This is an early edition (1943) of Kerr's Canning Book. Great information that is still current for home-canners. It has a lovely cover and is in good condition with light wear to the cover. $14.99. Stock number 96210. SOLD

Cy Littlebee's Guide to Cooking Fish & Game
	All you hunters and anglers and hunters' and anglers' wives or friends-here's the definitive guide to preparing that "catch". Put out by the Missouri Dept. of Conservation. 	This booklet put out by Carnation in 1931 is missing its titled cover, but the rest is in great shape. Full of great Carnation milk recipes, it is just without a proper name. Give it one for only $9.99. Stock number 84249.

	Rumford Baking Powder put out this cute little booklet full of great baking recipes. Seems innocent enough, but the recipes were actually the products of none other than Fannie Farmer of the Boston Cooking School. Steal it for $6.99. Stock number 84235. SOLD

Patriotic Food Show Official Recipe Book

What a find! This is the official recipe booklet from the Patriotic Food Show held in St. Louis on Feb. 2-10, 1918. These recipes were prepared by women holding down the fort while their men fought the great and terrible WWI. It was published by the Women's Central Committee on Food Conservation.
